About Us
Liz Drake is a Geography graduate from London University. She specialised in Human and Social Geography with Economics. Liz has travelled all her life and believes it is the greatest source of education and inspiration - always broadening the mind and feeding the soul.
Liz started working abroad as a tour guide and resort manager for a leading tour operator before specialising in niche markets and corporate events. Now with three decades of comprehensive industry experience in the international MICE market (meetings, incentives, congresses and events) and special interest tourism - particularly wildlife, conservation and community-based tourism, Liz is one of the most knowledgeable and respected experts in the world of travel.
Stephen Brown is a Geography graduate from London University. He is an international businessman, trading at grassroots level in China, India and Europe, which has enabled him to develop a fair and humanitarian perspective on all aspects of business and life.
Stephen loves to travel at a leisurely pace. With a dislike of air travel, his overland routes take him through the heart of countries meeting the local people and spending quality time with them.
Ruth Greene is an articulate and enterprising individual providing a myriad of administrative skills through her love of the English language, drama and acting and her background in marketing. Ruth travels mainly to South Africa, Israel and India to visit family and friends.
Pete MacDougall is an enthusiastic team member, always willing to help and provide support of any kind. Born in Tanzania, his love of the people, the wildlife and their environment draws Pete back there as often as possible.
Jo Smith, Eileen Allen, Martha Elles-Hill, Vanessa Fagan, Marc Belben and Susie Howe are professional Blue Badge Guides who are linguists and proficient organisers, skilled in managing expectations and achieving the best out of colleagues. Most importantly they are caring and warm-hearted individuals, who always have others' interests at the heart of matters.
